NEW LOCATION! Camp Abenaki will be based out of the MCLA Church Street location.

There will be great indoor and outdoor space with frequent field trips for swimming and exploration throughout the local communities!

 

At Abenaki Summer Program, your child will have fun, learn, grow and make new friends in a challenging and supportive environment!

Please call or e-mail prior to registering for the 2024 Summer Camp season. $205 per camper per week. Before- and after-care available at no additional cost. MA vouchers are accepted and financial aid is available to those who qualify.

  • Week 1 (July 1-July 5) * no camp July 4 | Arts Enrichment Week
    • Create and learn about your artistic side! Campers will spend the week getting ready for the end of week talent show! Set design and rehearsals will take up a lot of our week.
  • Week 2 (July 8- July 12) | Community Hero Week
    • Enjoy visits from our local Police Departement and other community helpers! Campers will get to see firetrucks, our K-9 team, and EMS!
    • Week 3 (July 15 - July 19) | Sports and Play
      • Try out different traditional sports and games each day. Try out soccer, baseball, basketball and tennis. If you enjoy gym class then you will love this week!
    • Week 4 (July 22 - July 27) | STEAM Week
      • Dive into science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, where campers engage in hands-on experiments, innovative projects, and exciting challenges that ignite their passion for learning and discovery.
    • Week 5 (July 29 - August 2) | Fitness & Fun
      • Try out different forms of exercise! Zumba, obstacle courses, and more! If you are interested in minor sports like handball, pickleball, and bowling then you will love this week.
    • Week 6 (August 5 - August 9) | Live Like a Local Week
      • Learn about all the different aspects to your community during this week. Check out local hangouts and favorite places! Walking tours, field trips, and exploration of your city will be the base of the week.
    • Week 7 (August 12 - August 16) | Color Wars
      • A field day style week with physical, mental, and creative competitions.
    • Week 8 (August 19 - August 23) | End of Summer Celebration
      • A smaller-scale camp week to have FUN with those last days of summer. Lots of traditional summer camp fun including tie-die, friendship bracelets, and a yummy cook out!
